| 7.00 am | "Sound of the Second Drum" and foot procession from Market Square, down The Green, Mill Street, passing the old Corn Mill and terminating at the River Ettrick in South Bridge Street. Marches of The Royal Burgh of Selkirk's Property and land reared only by the duly appointed Burleymen. |
| 9.00 am | Burgh Band leads foot procession from Market Square to Shawburn Toll via normal route (Ettrick Terrace) |
| 9.30 am | Programme of music at Shawburn Toll by Silver and Pipe Bands |
| 9.45 am | Burleymen complete the Riding of the Marches terminating their ride at the Linglie (Nettley gate). |
| 10.00 am | Procession leaves Shawburn Toll for Selkirk Market Place via the usual route (Bleachfield Road, Scott's Place and High Street) |
| Burgh Flag to be safely carried in foot procession. | |
| 10.45 am | Casting of The Colours by The Senior Burgh Officer, whom failing, The Junior Burgh Officer. |
| 11.00 am | Conclusion of The Casting of the Colours ceremony and report of The March Riding by the Senior Burleyman. Return of The Burgh Flag by Senior Burgh Officer to the Provost. |
