Appointment Night

The appointment of Scott Tomlinson as Royal Burgh Standard Bearer for 2005 was made by Selkirk Common Riding Trust in the Town Hall, Selkirk on Friday evening. Scott emerged from the Town Hall carried by the Burleymen and processed round the old town streets in the company of Selkirk Silver Band and a large enthusiastic crowd of townspeople.
